Exciting Competition at the 2025 National Table Tennis Championship

The 43rd National Table Tennis Championship – Nhân Dân Newspaper Cup 2025, sponsored by PetroVietnam - PVCFC, took place in Da Nang from May 19 to May 26, featuring the participation of top players from across the country and marked by several positive changes in its organization.

 

New Highlights at the National Table Tennis Championship

In its 43rd edition, the National Table Tennis Championship – Nhân Dân Newspaper Cup 2025 attracted over 200 athletes representing 21 delegations from provinces, cities, sectors, and enterprises nationwide. Prominent table tennis centers such as Hanoi, Hai Duong, Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Hoa, the Army, and the Public Security team T&T all took part.

 

According to the registration list, all of Vietnam’s notable table tennis players, including Trần Mai Ngọc, Đinh Anh Hoàng, Nguyễn Khoa Diệu Khánh, Nguyễn Đức Tuân, and Nguyễn Anh Tú, participated in the tournament, promising many thrilling and competitive matches.

 

Notably, in an effort to enhance the quality of the tournament, all equipment—tables, balls, and playing mats—was provided by the official supplier for table tennis at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

In addition, the championship served as a basis for the Department of Physical Education and Sports and the Vietnam Table Tennis Federation to select outstanding players for the national team, aiming toward SEA Games 33 and other international competitions in 2025.

 

As scheduled, the tournament was held from May 19 to 26 at Tien Son Sports Complex, Da Nang City.
